...started his Acting journey when he was 8 years old in Hackettstown, NJ, doing musical theatre from roles like Baby John to Harpo Marx & tap dancing his heart away. At 11 the young thespian was able to work on stage with Paul Newman at The Hole In the Wall Gang Camp and help raise over $1 million for children with cancer any other terminal diseases. Brett Acted and tapped danced on stage with Chita Rivera, Nathan Lane, Julia Roberts and even whispered a forgetful Newman his line in front of a live audience.

Brett moved to Los Angeles, CA and immediately started a professional TV & Film career. His natural comedic timing and charm landed him quickly on set as a principal Actor in a junkyard for a Wannadoo cell phone commercial. That has grown over the years with numerous On-Camera-Principal roles for high profile companies including: Jack in the Box, Toyota, Esurance, Texas Pete Hot Sauce, Monster, PriceChopper, and Nokia Lumia to name a few. Brett remember’s his first National Commercial booking and when he went to the mailbox he found 14 checks. Commercials definitely paid the bills but Brett’s true passion has always laid in narrative TV/Film & Theatre.

Brett’s TV career has included principal roles on ABC’s “General Hospital” as Rex the computer techie, Netflix’s “Glow” as the a-hole Paramedic who tells one of the ladies of Glow to “give weight watchers a try” and even Carlos Mencia’s Comedy Centrals “Mind of Mencia” where he heals his father’s cancer by praying to the almighty.

Brett used some of his commercial earnings to Co-Found the modest production company LA REELS. One of his goals while in Los Angeles was to produce and distribute a feature film. That dream came true when he partnered with Noah Edwards (Business partner) and together they created, raised the budget, and produced the sexy independent feature film “Scramble”. “Scramble” was picked up by Gravitas Ventures and distributed on 26 platforms in North America.

7 years into their joint venture, Brett has produced and directed over 3000 original scenes, a feature film, numerous award winning shorts, small business commercials, and became the sole owner of LA REELS. Brett formed his new company in Atlanta, GA, Newton Entertainment Inc as an umbrella to cover everything in front and behind the camera that Newton is involved in.

Brett’s Directing career started under the guidance of famed TV Director Howard Ritter, when he directed his first televised multi-cam political drama in 2007, “The Members”. Because Brett is an ACTOR he also understands how an Actor’s mind works. He’s able to truly justify their needs and wants so they can express their true essence on screen.
